Westonka Has Lowest Total School Taxes in Hennepin County     

According to data provided by Hennepin County Taxpayer Services, the Westonka School District has the lowest total school taxes of all school districts located in whole or in part within Hennepin County. This chart shows each district's annual school taxes on a $300,000 value home--with Westonka's at $717.09, Orono at $929.07, Minnetonka at $1315.14, Watertown at $1393.83 and Waconia at $1443.36.

"We work hard to be good stewards of taxpayer dollars," said Superintendent Kevin Borg. "Westonka's low taxes, top-in-state test scores, and big school opportunities show that the district's focus is on being efficient with our dollars by investing wisely in staff and efforts that improve our students' education."
