HE REALLY IS A WONDERFUL DOG, GETS ALONG GREAT WITH OTHER DOGS, ESPECIALLY THE LADIES :), LOVES TO PLAY & WOULD MAKE A GREAT 'JOG DOG'.

TEMPORARY FOSTER HOME NEEDED ID# A0967986-for sweet guy recovered from Coyote attack
 This 2 year old male poodle was attacked by a coyote and severely
injured. With treatment, this adorable little guy has blossomed and is
now doing great.
Since he was bitten by a wild animal, health
regulations require that it be quarantined for 6 months to make sure he
doesn't develop rabies. After that, he can be adopted.
In the meantime, if a loving person could provide a temporary
home for this little guy so it doesn't have to be in the shelter for 6
months, that would be great!
He will have to remain in the
home itself - no walks, no groomers, and no other dogs or cats in the
house - and preferably in the LA area.
HE HAS BEEN THROUGH SOMETHING EXTREMELY TRAUMATIC. He needs someone who can help get him through this ordeal. ID# A0967986

 Hannah is in desperate need of a home...she is incredible...she is a beautiful dog.
Someone cut off her tail, so she is a bit tentative and shy to start, but quickly warms up when she determines you are someone she can trust and quickly becomes snuggly and affectionate.
She has incredible brown eyes and is very sweet. She gets along with other dogs and is on the submissive side.
Please give this lovely girl a chance..her time is running out at the shelter due to overcrowding because of the housing crisis. Please give her a another go of life.

HOPE
 Hope's owner, Marvin, passed away two weeks ago. Marvin rescued Hope from a shelter about three years ago.
Hope is a Shiba Inu mix about five years old. She is very friendly, quiet, and is longing for someone to love her again. She is housebroken and good with other dogs - don't know how she is around cats or kids.

JAKE THE CAT
 Meet Jake. He is an eight year old healthy neutered cat. He has not been declawed. He is a little skiddish of chaos (aren't we all) - so, he would do best in a quiet home with no dogs or kids - other cats are fine, though.
He has a sweet and lovable disposition; he would not hurt a fly. His owner is moving to Boston and is unable to take him with her.
Time is of the essence; she is moving on the 9th.

SCOOBY IS A LOVER BOY
 Hi I am Scooby. I am at the Hawthorne SPCALA. I am 1 year and 4 months old. I am a neutered male. The entire shelter is in love with me. They have taught me sit, down, shake and when you say "Scooby hug" I jump up with my front legs spread to hug you. I get along with other dogs, male or female. When I am in the sun I do need sunscreen put on because I am such a sensitive guy. I have gorgeous green eyes.(One of my best features if I say so myself).
I love to give kisses and love to be on your lap if you sit on the floor with me. I just love to cuddle.

COCO, Sweeter than chocolate
 This cute little Peke is a love...once she knows you can be trusted. She came from a difficult situation with an owner who knew nothing about dogs (especially Pekingese) and would just throw her a scrap of food when she wanted attention or loving.
Her foster mom has gained her trust and finds her responsive and bright. She walks on her leash well and sits and watches TV too.
The foster is going to be very picky about who she goes to, so if you think you are into rescue enough to be patient and gentle with a very special little dog, call me and we'll talk.

CHERRY....what a girl!
 Cherry was just rescued and is now in a foster home with 2 other dogs and is doing great! She is about 3 years old and weighs less than 10 lbs.
She can be shy with new people and surroundings, but she is very playful, silly, and full of life once she settles in. She is a wonderful girl. This loving girl is also fantastic with other dogs.

BARTON NEEDS A HERO!!
 BARTON has been at a non-kill rescue for 5 YEARS - he is about 6 years old and lives in a small metal cage - he is only let out twice a day for 10-15 min. So, he doesn't get out very often.
He has recently been fostered 5-6 days a week and they really love the little guy - but cannot adopt him. Their observations: He doesn't like most other dogs, he doesn't approach strangers, but growls if startled, he loves his toys, is playful, patient, house broken, and very affectionate. He listens and reacts very favorably to commands......He needs someone to love him and take the time to make him feel secure.

Cowboy, the little guy will steal your heart
 This is Cowboy,he weighs about 10 pounds, about 2-3 yrs old,a little mix, he was hit by a car and left on the side of the road in a cardboard box, he was only bruised.
He has an amazing personality, house trained, shots and nuetered. He loves all animals and people.

Ricki is a two year old long haired chiauhau, about 6 pounds, he is shy with people but once he gets to know you he is very affectionate. The owner couldn't keep him Ricki is very sweet, because he is so shy, I will have to take him to meet people on their territory. JACUBA IS STILL LOST!!
 Black and White Domestic Short Haired Cat, 1 year old - weighs about 4 pounds and is 22 in long.
Jacuba took off out the front door near Laurel Canyon and Ventura Blvd.
He was wearing a collar and tag but it was found in the street. He is not micrchipped.
He is not an outside cat - she would walk him on a harness (see picture) but he's never been out alone.
