Hello Everyone:

Summer is already here in the Southwest, so it's out with the sunscreen and into the pool, which I find so refreshing, and  ofcourse, it's also a good workout.

I'm so excited about offering a Venus Workshop this upcoming Saturday.  As I've placed my attention on preparing the material for this workshop, so much guidance has come forward.   I just love this kind of process.  It is so nurturing and supportive.

On another note, so many of you haved shared your photos and slideshows with me via email, capturing your child's recent graduation, which I have so enjoyed.  It's such a benchmark, seeing your child ready for the next step, of finding their way in the world.  You must be so proud!

I hope you all have some fun summer activities on your calendar to look forward to!

Jupiter in Gemini

Jupiter enters the sign of Gemini on June 11, 2012 and will remain in this sign through June 25, 2013.

Communication oriented, artsy, and broad minded, Jupiter in Gemini offers to expand our horizons through connecting us with new interests, new circles of friends, and new perceptions.

Versatile, changeable, intuitive, perceptive, entreprenurial and independent, Jupiter in Gemini energies carry an innate curiosity about life, a desire to explore both the 'scope' and 'essence' of the subject at hand.  Gemini does well expressing through all fields related to communication and education, and has a flair for writing and teaching.

You may find yourself in the mood for a spontaneous road trip, which you can combine with taking in a class, workshop, learning a new artistic technique or attending a gallery opening or the like. Gemini loves a change of scene and, being ruled by Mercury, which is associated with short distance travel, it all blends together to offer an opportunity for that which expands our mental horizons, and offers inspiration and stimulation.

Jupiter in Gemini thrives when involved with a research  project,  which involves gathering information, various writings, photographs, and the like, for the purpose of documenting a persons life, capturing a phase of history, or creating a documentary to bring awareness to a project.

Jupiter conjuncts Venus in Gemini June 27 - July 12, and then goes onto trine Mars in Libra, July 8 - 30, an expansive and uplifting combination, considered a beneficial influence for making good connections and receiving good news.  This is coming at such a good time, in that it overlaps with the far more intense energies associated with the Uranus-Pluto square.

The second major influence made by Jupiter, a 'yod' to Pluto and Saturn, takes place in the late Fall, and I'll share information about that closer to that time.

PLEASE NOTE:
ALL TIMES GIVEN ARE  IN PST

June 1:  A reflective mid morning influence connects us with our imagination and emotions.  An early afternoon 'chatty' aspect helps ideas flow, connecting us with the 'what if's' of life. A little background 'mental interference' influence can still be felt.

(Moon/Neptune trine at 10:30 am, followed by Mercury-Venus conjunction in Gemini; Mars in Virgo still in square to a Gemini Sun).

June 2:  Productive early morning influence seeks to finalize projects.

(Scorpio Moon sextiles Mars in Virgo)

June 3:  We can feel the build up to the Lunar Eclipse tomorrow morning, with a desire for a free flowing day, for we can't quite figure out what we want or what we want to do.  Early evening aspect helps us focus.

(Sagittarius Moon opp Jupiter and square Neptune until Noon; Moon trine Uranus at 6pm, followed by a Mercury-Saturn trine at 7:30 pm).

June 4:  Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius - see Lunar Activity.  Hopefully, we'll feel some of the focusing energy of last night's Saturn-Mercury trine, for the 'energy' is all over the map today, and throughout the evening.  Best not to plan events which require focus, attention to details and precision.  Not a good day for starting a new project, which has long reaching ramifications.

(This lunar eclipse creates a mutable T-square, involving Moon in Sagittarius, Mercury/Venus in Gemini and Mars in Virgo...and Neptune goes retrograde today).

June 5:  A Capricorn Moon takes a shot at stabilizing the energies created by last night's Lunar Eclipse, but with little success.  An early evening harmonius influence supports cooperation and good communication between individuals, but is in the path of a more self-riteous, assertive influence favoring indvidual expression at all costs.

Essentially we're talking about an atmosphere charged with heightened emotions, coming on the other side of the Lunar Eclipse, which as we can imagine, makes it easy to get swept up in the heat of the moment.

(Sun-Venus conjunction in Gemini at 6:00 pm, followed by Moon square Uranus and conjuncting Pluto, exact  from 6:30 - 8:00 pm).

June 6:  A morning influence can help clear up the confusion of the past few days, insofar as helping us focus our attention on the task at hand.  As we let go of the day's events, we may still find we're sensitive to emotional vulnerability.

(Moon-Mars trine at 9:30 am; Moon-Saturn square at 7:30 pm)

June 7:  Early morning influences support the idea of approaching the day at a comfortable pace and taking some rest, if desired.  Some of the 'swirly' Eclipse energies, accompanied by irritability and impatience, can be present in the early evening hours.

(Mercury enters Cancer and Moon trines Jupter from 4:00 - 5:30 am; Sun squares Mars at 7:30 pm).

June 8:   Could this be?  A day with all positive influences?  Some might say, TGIF!  Expansive thoughts help us maintain a good, overall perspective today, which is accompanied by a philosphical, and highly intuitive influence, creating the parting of the veils, long enough for us to get a peak into the other 'worlds'.

(Aquarius Moon trines Sun-Venus conjunction in Gemini;  Cancer Mercury trines Neptune in Pisces at 7:00 pm).

June 9:  Make sure you leave some time for daydreaming later in the day....for that's where all the energy is drawing us toward.  If you live near the ocean, maybe you can pack a picnic dinner and take in  those  negative aeons from the shore.

(Moon-Neptune conjunction in Pisces at 6:00 pm)

June 10:  If only we could make up our mind with how to spend our day, today!?  If you're a sensitive sleeper, you might consider going to bed early, to get a heads start on a Mars aspect, which can have us staring at the ceiling when we would much rather be sleeping.

(Moon-Venus square at 12:15 pm; Moon-Mars opposition around midnight).

June 11:  Another 'swirly' day today.  Can you tell, this is my new favorite word?  We may arise today to find we somehow don't feel so refreshed from our night's sleep, which can set us off on the wrong foot.  The good news is that Jupiter enters Gemini mid morning today, where it will remain for a year.  Open minded, philosophical and an excellent communication placement, perhaps it can help expand the other energies present today.   With mentally challenging  influences  upon us today, it makes it easier to slip right into the 'victim' mode.  Perhaps we're feeling a little overwhelmed, or maybe we've been in overdrive too long.  Watch out for the tendency for 'dark' moods to begin brewing.

(Jupiter enters Gemini at 10:22 am; The Moon is Void the entire day until 9:30 pm; Mercury squares Uranus at 10:45 am, and goes on to oppose Pluto at 6:00 pm).

June 12:  If yesterday was a heavy "Mercury' day, today, the Moon jumps in to have her 'say', or 'way".  We may find ourselves in the process of attempting to clear murky feelings, and are likely to run the gamut from experiencing anger, to confusion and overwhelm.  However, before bedtime, a positive influences pops forward to help us obtain clarity, and to let go.

(Aries Moon conjuncts Uranus at 1:30 pm, & es on to form a T-square with Mercury in Cancer and Pluto in Capricorn between 2:30 and 6:00 pm; Moon sextiles Gemini Venus at 8 pm)

June 13:  A positive, stabilizing aspect comes into effect in the early morning, which helps us gather our energy and focus and direct it toward that which brings us the optimum results.  An early evening influence supports getting rest to fortify our emotional and physical strength and stamina.

(Sun trine Saturn at 5:00 am; Saturn-Moon oppositon at 7:00 pm).

June 17:

Happy Father's Day!

This holiday starts off on a dreamy, optimistic note.  The ideas of exactly how you intend to celebrate with Dad, might take on a hazy note during the morning hours, but clarity comes in the afternoon.   Great social influences come together early evening, making it excellent for family hang outs.

(Moon conjunct Jupier just after midnight, followed by a Moon-Neptune square at 4:45 am;  the energy picks up in the afternoon with a Moon-Uranus sextile and a fabulous relationship oriented influence of a Moon-Venus conjunction in Gemini at 5:00 pm).

June 18:  The evening influences support taking the time to get your week organized, so you feel better prepared.

(Moon-Mars square at 8:00 pm, followed quickly by at Moon-Saturn trine at 8:15 pm).

June 19:  New Moon in Gemini at 8 am.  See Lunar Activity.

We may experience some emotional vulnerability today via the influence  of he New Moon, which takes place at  28 degrees of Gemini, and rapidly moves into the emotionally oriented sign of Cancer at 10:30 am.

June 20:  Happy Summer Solstice! Today, begins the build up of  emotionally charged  energy,  associated with the first Uranus-Pluto square, which is exact on June 24.  While these heightened energies can be tense and unpredictable,  accelerate bouts of social unrest, leading to violence, and terrorist activity in the world, they also carry the right amount of friction and resistance, which makes it possible for personal  transformative break-throughs, and assist in the release of negative patterns.

Because of resistant emotional patterns in evidence in the early morning hours and a difficult mental influence, this is not a good day for setting up important meetings or presentations, beginning a new endeavor, applying for a loan or signing legal contracts, which are binding.  The early evening hours, bring forth a positive influence, which helps us let go and reposition ourselves.

(Cancer Moon in a T-square with Uranus and Pluto at 3:00 am, followed by a Mercury-Saturn square at 7:00 am; Venus sextiles Uranus at 6:00 pm).

June 21:  Positive influences today can help make right that which may have gotten off to a bad start yesterday, however, we have to be willing to put these positive, solution oriented influences to work for us, which may involve getting out of our own way.

(Mercury in Cancer sextiles Mars in Virgo and is backed up by a Moon-Mars sextile and a Moon-Mercury conjunction (Cancer).  A Saturn-Moon square at 7:00 am might have us licking our wounds and dragging our feet).

June 22:  A noble, 'let's go with the bigger choice', Leo Moon, makes great strides in cutting through whatever may prevent us from seeing our way forward and taking that leap into reframing our situation to include new possibilities and great potential.  Creative & insightful.

(Moon sextiles Jupiter & Venus in Gemini;  Moon trines Uranus in Aries at 12:30 pm).

June 23:  A philosophical influence, coming together in the evening, invites us to align ourselves with Universal awareness, and have faith in Divine order.  This preceeds the Uranus-Pluto square, which happens in the wee hours of June 24, and can trigger many things, though not necessarily on the actual day which these planets come into direct alignment.  This alignment symbolizes the breaking apart of that, which is ready to 'give'; perhaps earthquakes and other seismic activity and/or a financial fall involving a large, established company.

(Sun trine Neptune)

June 24:  Even if the Uranus-Pluto square is not connecting directly with planets in our individual chart, we can still feel a tremendous sense of 'power' taking place energetically, from this configuration.  Early morning influences can have us feeling very ungrounded, and in need of some rest and nurturning, which build up to and also go beyond, tomorrow's influences.

(Uranus-Pluto square at 1:00 am, follwed by a mutable T-square, involving Virgo Moon, Jupiter in Gemini and Neptune in Pisces).

June 25:  A feeling of ungroundedness can continue today, but is greatly benefitted by Saturn going into a direct motion in the wee hours of the morning.

(Jupiter-Neptune square just after midnight; Saturn goes direct at 1:00 am).

June 26:  Early morning influences can, on one hand energize us, but also throw curve balls in our way, leading to irritation and impatience, on the mental level.  Nevertheless, positive Libra Moon influences help us let go and move toward enjoying beneficial social activities throughout the day.

(Moon-Mars conjunction in Virgo at 4:00 am, followed by a Moon-Mercury sextile, and trine from Jupiter and Venus in Gemini, to a Libra Moon.

June 27:  Venus goes direct this morning, which helps bolster our self esteem and clarify any unresolved relationship type activity.

June 28:  Watch out for an early morning emotionally challeng-ing influence creeping in, by which we tend to dwell on the struggles of life.  In the evening hours, yet another subtle influence comes forth, which can set up power struggles.  Try to resolve any problems tonight, so that these thoughts do not carry into tomorrow.

(Moon-Saturn conjunction in Libra at 1:30 am; Scorpio Moon comes into square with Mercury in Leo).

June 29:  Big time emotional-power struggles can emerge today, so try to keep drama at a distance. Once in the 'drama' mode, it is difficult to exit it!  While there is a redeeming influence which can help us frame things in a positive mode, this is still not a good day for working closely with those who carry negative emotional patterns, unless you know what you are walking into to.  Also not a good day to take on a project which you already have strong misgivings about.  Trust your gut!  If you are entering into a new project, make sure you know the scope and 'condition' of what you're taking on.  There can be hidden factors, which turn out to be a nightmare down the road.  Not at all a good day to sign legally binding contracts.

(T-square involving Cancer Sun, Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Aries, with a backdrop of a Scorpio Moon; Mercury-Jupiter sextile at 8:30 am).

June 30:  You may need some time in front of the TV this evening to 'chill' and escape the challenges of the week.

(Sagittarius Moon in T-square with Jupiter and Neptune).

Lunar Activity

June 4:       Lunar Eclipse    4:12 am    14 deg of Sagittarius

As noted above, the enegy is all over the place around this Lunar Eclipse, in that, it connects with many other mutable (changeable) planets.  The Lunar Eclipse opposes Venus/Mercury in Sagittarius and squares Mars in Virgo.

While this does carry idealistic, expansive energies, it is also difficult to 'ground' this energy, so it's important to make a super effort to be in your body as you manouever around the planet!

June 19:     New Moon     8:00 am      28 deg of Gemini

The build up and true experience of this Gemini New Moon is experienced June 17th and 18th.  Chatty, creative and communicative ideas on the horizon.  At 10:30 am on the 19th, the Moon moves into the sign of Cancer, a much more emotional experience that Gemini.  Challenging influences follow on June 20th - see above.
