MERCURY IN RETROGRADE (March 12 - Apr 3) The retrograde motion of Mercury begins at 7 degrees of Aries, which makes for close encounters with transiting Uranus (Mar 12 - 22), and close to being in square to transiting Pluto (Mar 12 16). Placed in Aries, and making strong connections to the powerful planets of Uranus and Pluto, in the time-frames noted above, we can expect to see dynamic and assertive qualities associated with this Mercury. We will not hesitate to be direct in expressing our individual needs, some of which are likely to feel quite urgent. In the March 23 - Apr 3 timeframe of Mercury in retrograde, it moves into the philosophically oriented and passive sign of Pisces, creating a desire for reflection and accessing our imagination.
