Jupiter Activity in 2010   Jupiter in Pisces - Jan 17 - June 5, 2010   and   Sept 8, 2010  - Jan 21, 2011    Pisces is a mutable, water sign ruled by the planet Neptune, but also has a great affinity with Jupiter, which not so very long ago, was considered its co-ruler.  Experiencing the more subtle energies of Jupiter in Pisces can be somewhat like looking through a kaleidoscope, or watching a rainbow of colors emitting from a prism hanging in the window with the sun shining through it.    Pisces energy can be imaginative, philosophical, sensitive, artistic, compassionate, strong in faith and devotion, feeling oriented, nebulous, mystical, reflective, idealistic and/or unrealistic, visionary, dreamlike, illusionary, impressionable and linked with tendencies toward escapism, addiction, lacking emotional boundaries and lacking definition.   Jupiter in Pisces in 2010 will lead us gently toward taking time with life, reflecting on our inner journey and taking time to listen within, cultivate our experience of the sacred, trust, allow, accept and pay attention to that which we're drawn toward, which makes our heart sing and enhances our Spirit.  We may seek to develop our intuitive and psychic abilities and learn more about metaphysically oriented subjects.     Jupiter in Pisces' connection with the Divine Mother and the longing for mystical experience could create a wave reminiscent of the 60's, with a noticeable trend of younger people seeking spiritual guidance from eastern teachers, as well as more people turning toward their churches and synagogues for guidance.   The area within the arts which is particularly enhanced by Jupiter's journey through Pisces, is music, film, dance, movement, and all of the visual arts.   As always with the nature of Jupiter in Pisces, we can find ourselves slipping toward that which gives us some respite from worldly responsibilities and having to be 'on' in our day to day lives.  We all have our different ways in which we zone out.    However, if we can open up to these energies, we can also find ourselves receiving inspiration, guidance, healing and blessings, as our intuition becomes sharper, our connection to the spiritual becoming deeper and our dreams and other aspects of our inner lives bring us much guidance about our life journey.  Prayer, meditation, chanting and singing are great spiritual practices which align well with the Jupiter in Pisces energies.    For those who like to keep both feet planted firmly on the ground, are more practical by nature, or who are 'driven' and high achievers, Jupiter in Pisces energies may be experienced as being disconcerting, dreamy and ambiguous at times.
