April 2012                                      "Disciples Of the Cross Making Disciple Makers From All Nations"

"Women Of the Book Lutheran Outreach" exists to reach out especially to  Muslim women from all nations with the Saving Gospel of Jesus Christ. Due to the restrictions of the Sharia Law in Islam, outreach to Muslim women isn't something male missionaries can effectively do. Therefore WOBLO-TX answers the call in many different ways by reaching, and living with these ethnic women in a Christ centered  friendship and teaching them life skills such as "sewing."

"Sewing Seeds of Faith One Stitch at a Time," is a new program lead by trained mission minded women  and consists of teaching sewing skills to other ethnic women,   making friends with them and their children and raising up leaders from among them to become new missionaries in order to bring the Gospel to 25,000+ refugees in the immediate vicinity of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (the home base of POBLO-TX in Dallas).

Open your eyes... the Fields are ripe and ready for Harvest"  Muslim women are the biological weapon of multiplication in the Muslim world. They are indeed the most overlooked and most neglected mission field in America today.  As relationships with them are cultivated, we earn the right to be heard and opportunities will arise to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ "One Stitch at a Time & One Soul at a Time".

The WOBLO-TX ministry  includes making home visits to distribute food with the Magdalena DVD in 7 different languages. This movie will bring the story of Jesus right into our Muslim neighbors own homes spoken in the language of their own hearts. But most importantly, it tells and shows how Jesus treated women and gave them an honorable position in marriage, family and society.  Even more, it tells the story of Salvation as a gift from God by Faith in Christ from   Genesis to Revelation and  shows how Jesus, the Son of the living God, came to release oppressed women from their own world of shame, slavery and darkness into a world full of light and eternal hope. Eph 5:8-9

WOBLO-TX ministries needs your prayers and support:  In order to put arms and legs on this unique project and make it a reality, WOBLO-TX needs your working UN-used sewing machines, material and sewing supplies.  As a good start, we need to finance the Magdalena project and purchase at least ten thousand DVDS at $2.50 each and put them in the hands of our WOBLO Team.  Your generous donation of $100.00 will generate 40 DVDS. POBLO-TX will get these DVDS at a discount and   only pay $ 2.50 per DVD.  What a bargain for the Saving Gospel for All Nations!!! Our goal is to distribute 5 thousand Magdalena DVDS by the end of 2012 and reach our goal of 10 thousand homes by the end of 2013.  We will not rest until all 25 thousand refugees, will each   receive the story of Magdalena   Jesus movie in their own home and language.  But without your prayers, this project will be impossible.  Please pray that the Lord of the harvest will raise up more mission minded workers and send them right back into the white Fields.
