A Call to Action:

Muslim Women are the greatest overlooked, most neglected, mission field opportunity in America today.  Perhaps because Islam is considered a male-dominated religion, we have failed to see these Muslim women are the ones in the homes, rocking the cradles and raising the next generation of American Muslims.  One other important fact, though, Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world, it isn't due to conversions, it's due to birthrates.  Please click on the following link to watch this short video on 'YouTube' "Muslim Demographics".  In this video Momar Al  Kaddafi, from Libya, commented " Islam does not need any  terrorist or human bombers... The 50 million Muslim mothers in Europe will soon turn it into a Muslim continent within the next 39 years or so". Between 2001- 2006, Canada's population has increased by 1.6  million, and 1.2 million of those is due to mothers staying at home having children. Between 1970- 2006, the number of Muslims jumped from 100,000 to 9,000,000 Muslims.  The World is changing rapidly and it's time to wake up. This task is so enormous, and the pressure is so fierce. These Muslim mothers are the biological weapon for multiplication par excellence in the Islamic Sharia Law.  This demographic propaganda in the Quran gives the Muslim husband the authority to marry three to four wives and will grant him a  bonus of 70 more virgins if he dies as a martyr in the name of Jihad.

 Women of The BookAnswers the Call: Due to the urgency of this call, POBLO-TX  has brought in three women representing 3 different ethnic groups ( Iraq, Jordan, and Nepal)  to reach out to the 10,000 refugees who live a couple of miles across from Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Dallas Texas.  The role of these three women is to continue to reach, Teach, and live among these helpless Muslim women and their children in order to bring them eternal hope in Christ Jesus the friend of all sinners. Nita from Nepal with her master degree in ESL (English as Second Language),  Our Mission program has been attracting  women from All Nations mostly from Muslim and Hindu backgrounds.  This is just a foretaste of our vision statement from Rev 7:9-11.

Having  lived completely immersed in the Islamic culture, and speaking Arabic as their mother Language,  God has prepared and equipped both Kalthoum ( from Jordan)  and her partner in the mission field Suzan ( from Iraq) to relate to these lost Muslim women in order to reach out to them with the love of Jesus.  With the help and food donations from many generous  local congregations, our Emergency Food Pantry Program has  fed many hungry family and gave Women of the Book excess to enter many homes and build Christ centered relationship.  Jesus is the bread of life and the real manna from heaven that these hungry women need to eat to save their souls.   Jesus who went to meet the Samaritan woman at the well yesterday is now calling the Women of the Book today to carry on the same task of bringing the Living water to our Thirsty neighbors from All Nations John 4:10.  They are Christ in the flesh to these desperately lost women. Their  heart is deeply burdened to show these women how they, too, can experience the true unconditional love they have never known as slaves of Allah, how they can live a life of joy and freedom, redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb.   Women of the book  longs for these Muslim women and children to know that their salvation is not something dependent upon their endless works of slavery trying to earn favor and approval in the eyes of their husband and mercy from a distant, unknowable god.

Deliriously Joyful and Blessed are the available mothers of Faith.

 "From one man he (God) made every nation of men that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live." Acts 17:26.

Who is there to pray for the lonely refugee widow mother who is left alone  with her 3 blind daughters with severe diabetes because her husband was shot to death in the war in Iraq.

Who is there  to pray for the Kurdish widow and comfort her with a psalm when her husband dies of two strokes in a row and leave 3 boys behind including a 10 year old atheistic baby.  To help her with doctor appointments and medicine, , getting around in a new neighborhood, finding necessary items for the family?

Who is there to listen to the broken and frightened hearts of these Muslim women who have no one else to turn to?

These are real life stories, but  from these daily life and death matters, from these daily necessary needs that we- the People of the Book, the People of Faith take for granted sometimes, Women of the Book ministries emerged -by faith- to answer the challenge. Blessed are the conduits, the tunnels, the tools.  If God has used sticks and rocks to do his will, then He can use them also.

Being a Muslim convert myself, outreach to Muslim women isn't something POBLOTX missionary men can effectively do.  Through our Deaconess program, Women of the book ministry serves these overlooked women through building relationships in order to earn the right to be heard thru the message of the Word of God.

 Meeting these mothers and wives needs such as: driving lessons, computer lessons, job training, and  childcare, shelter and provisions for the home, ESL lessons, Women of The Book will reach out to their children and open their eyes for the Gospel.   All these opportunities work together to help these families grow in the Grace and the Knowledge of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Women of the Book exists to reach, teach and live among Muslim women and their families and others, to bring Jesus Christ into these homes, to share God's plan of salvation to Muslim women who are locked in a world of privacy and exclusion in their own communities, hidden behind closed doors and social barriers.  But how will they hear if we don't go to them, just as Christ came to us?

"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" Rom 10:13-15

There are presently 1.6 Billion Muslims in the world, roughly equating every 1 in 5 people in the world is a Muslim.  If Islam continues to spread and grow unchallenged, every 1 in 3 people will be a Muslim by the year 2025!  Never before has the Great Commission been more urgent.

 Some of these former Muslim mothers and wives, who broke loose from the bondage of Sharia law are now  urgently Reaching out to their own because they too realized that Islam as a religion has failed them personally, economically, socially and spiritually. This task is so enormous, and the pressure is so fierce which demands vigilant prayer and support. The dedication of these new converts is impressive when considering the common threat of ostracism from family members and community.   " It is so difficult to watch these Muslim mothers suffer the sense of guilt and shame some of their relatives and friends try to place on them" says a former Muslim mother "... so they go back because there is no one out there to reach out and help them.

Sing to the LORD, praise his name;

   proclaim his salvation day after day.

 Declare his glory among the nations,

   his marvelous deeds among all peoples. Psalm 96:2-3
