Ethnic Immigrant Institute of Theology
EIIT is a specialized program of theological education and formation for effective pastoral leadership within immigrant-based churches. Concordia Seminary accomplishes this by offering a distance theological education program that leads to certification for ordination in The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod . The program is created for men providing pastoral leadership from within an ethnic immigrant community that is associated with the LCMS. Participants have the approval and support of their home church and the LCMS district within which they are carrying out their missionary work. With His Cross, "Jesus purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nations." Rev 5:9
The EIIT program requires a four year enrollment commitment at a cost of $7,000/year per student not including travel expense, books, housing and food. The Texas District will provide $1,000/year per student. This requires POBLO-TX to finance the remaining $6,000+ per year, per student. POBLO-TX has two missionaries currently enrolled and already active in their own congregations and mission work and enthusiastic to complete this EIIT program and become ordained pastors.
Two of our missionaries, Sabir Bashir and Wilson Irfan are in their first year of studies at the EIIT program and are being mentored by Pastor Karim Baidaoui. During each semester students are required to attend a week long series of classes at the seminary which requires much sacrifice away from their families and time off from work without pay. This would not be possible without your faithful prayers and continued support. Thank you for your partnership in the Gospel with POBLO-TX and your commitment in planting Churches of All Nations. Rev 7:9-11

Welcomes Our Savior Church of All Nations

OnSunday, January 30th, theNations came together at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Rockwall, Texas to celebrate the new Church plant of Our Savior Church of All Nations with POBLO-TX and Shepherd Wilson Irfan. It was truly a Blessed event to see the congregation come together and embrace the people of All Nations. Shepherd Irfan's congregation sang music from the language of their own hearts and his daughter played beautiful harp during communion. We thank Pastor Paul Ferguson and the congregation of Our Savior for the prayers and support for opening new doors to share the Gospel to All Nations! He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation Mark 16:15
Deacon Wilson Irfan of Our Savior Church of All Nations is excited and thankful for the opportunity to partner with Our Savior Lutheran Church in Rockwall to reach out to the growing Asian community in the Rowlett/ Rockwall area in the language in their own hearts. Please keep his ministry in your prayers.
