ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION PUBLIC MEETINGS
The Illinois Department of Transportation will host public meetings on December 14-16, 2011 to gather testimony on two initiatives, the Target Market Program and a new initiative designed to help Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) firms obtain the bonding or financing necessary to qualify for project contracts. CHICAGO STATE UNIVERSITY'S
ENTREPRENEURIAL IDOL COMPETITION
The Entrepreneurial Idol Competition is designed to provide small businesses with helpful information and guidance from business experts. Ten finalists will receive mentoring from a host faculty, small business owners and students of the CSU College of Business. Applications are due by December 21, 2011.
