One of our CSCBG members recently received a quote for 200 Sebel Chairs in 50 x 4 gangs through a local distributor who assured our member that he was receiving a specially discounted price. When CSCBG was demonstrating our web enquiry service we were able to demonstrate that the enquiry was responded to by phone within 10 minutes with an extremely favourable quote.

 

The local supplier had quoted $175 + GST.

CSCBG was able to achieve a price of $83.36 + GST for the exact make, model and colour.

CSCBG were able to deliver a saving of 52.36%

Our member was convinced and placed their order with Sebel through CSCBG.

"I recently had occasion to travel overseas with my family. We had a need to purchase travel insurance to protect our luggage and against any unforeseen circumstances. My wife had obtained a quote from the travel agency where we had purchased our accommodation and travel.

Electricity savings Trial yields great savings for CSCBG members.


Thank you to those CSCBG members that responded to our email regarding interest in reviewing the electricity charges of their current providers. We have been able to achieve significant reduction in annual rates for both corporate and personal CSCBG members in Qld, NSW, Vic and SA. Members have been offered savings from 7% to 33% on some rates and some expect these offers to save their organisations from as little as $300 to savings over $14,000/annum.

Food Product Recall

 

Patties Foods Ltd is conducting a voluntary recall of a specific batch of Four'N Twenty meat pies as a precautionary measure, following detection of some pieces of plastic in a limited number of products.

 

The affected 6 pack product has been available for sale at Coles Supermarkets, Bi Lo, Woolworths Supermarkets, and Independent Supermarkets.  The affected Single wrap product has been available at various Convenience Stores, Take Away outlets and various Foodservice outlets from January 2011. Both products are being withdrawn from sale.

 

Patties Foods is taking this precautionary action in the interests of public safety and as part of its commitment to provide high quality products to its customers.

 

Customers have been asked to dispose of any affected product and raise the appropriate paperwork/documentation.  Patties Foods invites customers to contact their representative or the Customer Service team on 1800 650 069 (toll free) if they have any questions.

 

An advertisement advising of this voluntary recall will appear in the major National Newspapers on 08/04/11.

 

Patties Foods is investigating this isolated incident thoroughly to determine the root cause and eliminate the chance of recurrence of a similar incident.

 

We are undertaking this voluntary recall to protect the well-being of our consumers, along with our reputation as a quality producer.

 

Patties Foods sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused by this recall.
