We like to brag.
A lot.
(You may have noticed this already.)

Some people might not think that bragging is very dignified. We assure you they'd be doing a lot more bragging (like us) if they had the pleasure of working with all the wonderful, outgoing, "over-the-top" supporters we have at Smiles Change Lives.

First order of bragging: SCL Orthodontists and their staff!  Check out our "Smilestones" for a list of orthodontists who are veteran SCL providers.  (You're not old, you're mature, like a fine wine!) SCL providers are 370 strong, and growing every day.  If your practice isn't on the list, please contact us to join.

Next, let's brag about our referral sources.  General dentists, hygienists, assistants, nurses, clinics, schools, case managers and our nonprofit and dental association partners refer qualified candidates to SCL so that we can match them up with an orthodontist. We can't thank you enough for being our eyes and ears on the ground in your community!  Remember, through December 31st, we have a Referral Campaign where you could win $500 for helping a child find their true smile.  Check it out!

Some people really go to extremes to help SCL. Here is a short list of just some of the ambitious and dedicated individuals who deserve recognition:

Dr. and Mrs. Frank Egan and the Long Island Turkey Trot.
24 Candy Exchange events and the practices that made them happen.
Dr. Ronald Kolodziej and the Cheesy Sweater Party
Hospital Hill Run and Team SCL

The point here is that we're YOUR biggest fans.  Thanks so much for all you do to help kids achieve a healthy, beautiful smile.

Participant Spotlight -  John and Ben

scl participantsYou'd never guess by looking at these two smiling, handsome young men, but severe malocclusions and pain were the reasons brothers John and Ben reached out to SCL. "We want to be sure and thank our orthodontist, Dr. Chad Bulleigh for offering his services and giving us a chance to get into this great program," shares Ben, who enjoys camping, hanging out with his buddies and playing guitar. John, who plays soccer and is enjoying school adds: "SCL is a great way to get braces when you have a limited income. We feel really blessed to have had this opportunity. Thanks SCL!" Keep smiling John and Ben!

Partner Spotlight - Dr. John Pavlo

scl orthodontist"As an orthodontist, I chose to join the Smiles Change Lives program as another way to change the lives of the children in the communities in which I practice," shares Dr. Pavlo. "I love being able to give parents this option when financially they just cannot afford another monthly payment, but their child deserves and needs treatment.  The joy that I receive by treating such cases is priceless!  I believe that all health care professionals chose their careers to make a difference in the lives of their patients. Part of my life's purpose has always been to give back to those who need my help and Smiles Change Lives is helping me to achieve my life's purpose!" We thank Dr. Pavlo for his compassion for and dedication to SCL kids!
