- Last year, United Way funding provided over 8,600 nights of emergency shelter to more than 380 women and over 330 children who were victims of domestic violence. By contributing $5 a week, you help provide 4-days of safe and secure emergency shelter for women and children.
- In 2011, your support of United Way helped provide medical evaluations, physical and occupational therapy, and therapeutic recreation to nearly 800 local children and youth with developmental or traumatic-induced disabilities. With a donation of $10 a week, 5 hours of therapeutic recreation and a day camp experience is provided to 10 special needs children, who would otherwise be unable to participate in these activities.
