From The Desk of the Executive Director |

Along with the ND Chamber, we applaud Governor Dalrymple and the North Dakota legislature for a tax relief package providing $490 million in tax relief. Because of the continued national recession outside of ND, many companies are seeking to relocate out of states hostile to business. This tax relief further solidifies ND as an excellent business location.
It gives further reassurance that ND is business friendly and a top choice to call home for both business and families. Our small businesses regionally are making increased capital investments. They will see an immediate positive impact via the $120 million in personal income tax reduction as most of them file taxes through individual returns. Please click this link here or press release.
The ND Chamber will hold a Legislative forum on May 18th at 1 p.m. in the Western Cooperative Credit Union. Please attend if your schedule allows. Register at http://www.ndchamber.com/calendar/register.asp?ID=97 . |
