| | Ken Callahan |
Ken Callahan is a self-made businessman from Boston, MA with a background in construction. He moved to North Dakota in 2000, and soon after obtained a Bachelor's degree Suma Cum Laude in Business Management from the University of Mary. He has worked for MDU for the past decade. In 2008, Callahan accepted a District Manager position in Williston, North Dakota, where he is responsible for 16,000 customers in the surrounding 50 towns. Ken deals with district operations such as customer service, budgets, employee concerns, public relations, and "In the Community to Serve". He is currently very active with the Chamber, on committees including Ambassadors, Budget, Energy, and many more. Ken is Treasurer of the Mon-Dak Energy Alliance, President and Area Governor of Toastmasters Shining Star District 78, V.P. of the Community Builders, Project Manager for the Playground and Splash Pad, and founding President of the Williston Area Builders Association. He is currently the Secretary/Treasurer of the North Dakota Association of Builders and was recently elected V.P. of Williston Park Board. Ken resides in Williston with his wife of over 20 years, JoAnn, and their golden retriever named Gordie. His passion is hockey and building a better quality of life for the Williston community. |

2011 Chamber Annual Meeting & Banquet |
Watch the mail for your 2011 Chamber Annual Meeting & Banquet Invitation. Included with your invitation is a convenient order form for your tickets and the opportunity for your business to contribute by donating door prizes and/or sponsoring bottles of wine or sparkling catawba.
The annual meeting and banquet is slated for Monday, January 31 at the Airport International Inn. All Chamber members and their guests will once again enjoy an evening of networking, entertainment and relaxation. A short business meeting will be held before dinner. Our guest speaker will be Executive Director Kevin Paschke. His topic will be "A Collaborative Comeback Story".

| North Star Caviar Grant Appilcations Available | |
North Star Caviar grant application forms and related guidelines are available at the Chamber office at 10 Main Street and online at www.northstarcaviar.com.
The mission of the North Star Caviar grant program is to provide funding for projects of interest to the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce and Friends of Fort Union Trading Post in Williams, McKenzie and Divide counties. Projects must be historical, cultural, recreational or resource-related in nature; applicant organizations must be non-profit in nature. Application deadline is March 4, 2011. Funds available will be announced at a later date.
