Ken Callahan

Ken Callahan is a self-made businessman from Boston, MA with a background in construction. He moved to North Dakota in 2000, and soon after obtained a Bachelor's degree Suma Cum Laude in Business Management from the University of Mary. He has worked for MDU for the past decade. In 2008, Callahan accepted a District Manager position in Williston, North Dakota, where he is responsible for 16,000 customers in the surrounding 50 towns. Ken deals with district operations such as customer service, budgets, employee concerns, public relations, and "In the Community to Serve". He is currently very active with the Chamber, on committees including Ambassadors, Budget, Energy, and many more. Ken is Treasurer of the Mon-Dak Energy Alliance, President and Area Governor of Toastmasters Shining Star District 78, V.P. of the Community Builders, Project Manager for the Playground and Splash Pad, and founding President of the Williston Area Builders Association. He is currently the Secretary/Treasurer of the North Dakota Association of Builders and was recently elected V.P. of Williston Park Board. Ken resides in Williston with his wife of over 20 years, JoAnn, and their golden retriever named Gordie.  His passion is hockey and building a better quality of life for the Williston community.
