Action Teams Working for You!
The Chamber functions through its members. Your best investment in the Chamber is your involvement.

An elected Board of Directors select a program of work annually. This work is carried out by the coordinated efforts of the staff and specific working committees which are better termed "action teams."

Chamber members work together in teams, behind the scenes, to carry out the mission of the Chamber and enhance its collective effectiveness in the community on many fronts. Your involvement is welcome and encouraged in any of these hardworking and important action teams. Working alongside fellow Chamber members to make a difference in Williston is a networking opportunity second to none.  Are you interested in being a part of one of these "action teams" contact the Chamber at 577-6000.

Letter from the New Executive Director

Kevin Paschke
Kevin Paschke

A quick note to wish you warm Christmas greetings and a Happy New Year!

It's been a whirlwind of activity since I started in November. I've been jokingly sharing that anyone who arrives in the Williston Area and doesn't feel what I've experienced should be shuttled over to Mercy to get their pulse checked. Hearing about growing rig counts, home developments, new water and sewer infrastructure, road construction, new buildings at Williston State College, and the awarding of an unprecedented two Babe Ruth World Series should make all residents proud to call the Williston Area home.

Like I mentioned last month, I applaud all of our members who have been burning the candle at both ends to keep up with strenuous demands. I've always believed there are two kinds of exhaustion: frustrated exhaustion and accomplishment exhaustion. My hope is you're feeling more of the second. As you and your employees serve your customers, there's a sense of gratitude for a growing customer base and internal pride that we all feel from a job well done.

Also, I'd like to applaud our City Officials and City Employees for all the hard work they've done this year. Mayor Ward Koeser and The City Commission have the duty of guiding responsible growth. Observing their serious dedication to enhancing the quality of life for all residents is inspiring.

At the Chamber, behind the scenes our team is busy working on new programs and benefits for you in 2011. You'll be getting a robust survey in January. Please take a few moments to fill it out and return it. It will be critical in helping us tailor our activities to your highest needs.

My staff and I would like to wish you and yours the Blessings of the Christmas season.

Merry Christmas,

Kevin Paschke
