April 12 Praise and Worship Event

You are warmly invited to the third Praise and Worship Gathering to be held on Saturday, April 12 from 8:30 - 10:30 am, once again at Lion of Judah.

In November and again in February, about 50 intercessors and worshippers gathered for an anointed time of prayer and praise that filled our hearts with renewed hope that God is indeed doing a new thing in our region.

These gatherings are marked by a spirit of confession and repentance, as well as a hunger for a fresh visitation of God's Spirit upon all of New England. There is a reassuring balance and harmony of spirit among those gathered from different denominations and traditions.

Covenant believes that God is calling New England to embrace a particular sensibility and spiritual outlook that characterizes the Spirit-filled life, which goes beyond mere denominational distinctions. Fuller discussion.

How important are our prayers? Dr. Bob Bakke is the Executive Director for the Global Day of Prayer, North America. This question is answered in his powerful exhortation on Revelation 8: "Prayer and the Transformation of History". Read a summary of this awe-inspiring sermon.

Elijah Kim
"Revivals and awakenings have transformed churches, nations and people in the past. New England has played its historical role in the Great Awakenings, campus revivals and overseas missionary movements. In the 21st century, many of us expect a revival in New England that will sweep through this country and the nations throughout the world. In anticipation, Covenant for New England works toward unity in the leadership of all evangelical churches and organizations, and across racial andcultural lines.- Dr. Elijah Kim, Vitality Project, Emmanuel Gospel Center
