Toothfairy Rapid, Cherring, Siang Valley

Dear Traveler,

As 2011 draws into its festive end, we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a fabulous 2012.
While our winter trips continue, we  bring to you the Drangme Chhu in Bhutan .

You will travel with the best hands in the business, with career guides, for whom sharing these journeys with you, is not a job, but a way of life. You embark upon a journey far beyond the legendary whitewater, unmatched in scale, safety, and experience, run consistently, safely and with expertise that forms industry benchmark.

If you look at a steep whitewater river and measured a person's blood pressure, you'd probably find out why the lure of the river had brought so many adventurers together. Few activities require one to process so much data, continuously and  quickly, with constant recalibration, and the Drangme Chhu promises to be all that and more...
Run only 4-5 times previously, it is the most exciting multi-day in the kingdom of Bhutan.

Only Indian Outfitter to be listed 2 years in a row since 2008 !

Our 2012 calendar will be out shortly, the dates for most trips are up and online now!

Warmly,

DRANGME CHHU, FEB 04-14, 2012

The Drangme Chhu is the one of the most isolated corridors in Bhutan, and is also its longest multi-day descent. Opened recently, it has not been run  more than a handful of times, and offers a challenging trip, ending at the Manas sanctuary in Assam, India. Offered with our partners in Bhutan, the trip meets all criteria of a unique wilderness experience, in one of the least visited valleys in Bhutan.   Read More... .
