 A self contained multi-day river adventure down the Alaknanda river. The trip starts from our base on the Ganges river near the pilgrim town of Rishikesh, and launches from the town of Chamoli river to end at Rudraprayag, descending 70 kms of a classic river run negotiating over 85 Class 3+/4 rapids!!

Chopta
 
 A short easy trek running parallel to the high Himalayas. Good views all the way, beautiful camping by the lake at Devariyatal and some great forests. In the early spring the rhododendron forest glow red as the flowers bloom. The views from the Chandrashilla top will stay in one's memory for really long.

 
Bevra camp
A moderate trek which starts from the Bhagirathi valley, goes up to the lake of Dodital wrapped in perfect wilderness.
 
 
 This trail which is fairly popular during the warmer months will not have many souls except the village hunters walking it in the winters. Experience living in the woods the local way - in the summer homes of the shepherds.
