Support groups bring together people who are facing similar issues. Members of support groups often share experiences and advice. It can be helpful just getting to talk with other people who are in the a similar situation. Below, find a list of the support groups and their contact details offered at Memorial.
- Breastfeeding Support Group - First and third Wednesday of each month from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Ambulatory Care Center, 89 Pond Street, Pawtucket. (401) 729-2510
- You Are Not Alone - Support Group for persons living with cancer and their caregivers. Meets first and third Wednesday of each month from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Conference Room, The Cancer Center, Memorial Hospital of RI. (401) 729-2789.
- Diabetes Support Group - Meets first Wednesday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sayles Conference Rooms 2 & 3, Memorial Hospital of RI. (401) 729-2574.
- Firsts Steps Program - A postpartum support group for mothers and their babies. Meets third Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the Family Care Center at Memorial. (401) 729-2206
