A little girl cries in the bathroom at school and whispers to herself, "Stupid, stupid, I'm so stupid!" She can't seem to keep up with the other kids. A seventeen year-old boy spends the first night of many in jail for crimes he committed because he thought he was too dumb to get a good job. A father is stuck in a low wage job because he never could get past third grade reading and math. A mother aches to be the caregiver she was before the accident but her brain injury offers little hope of living that life she loved.
