Foster a Snow Angel on Paliament Hill on Family Day

fsaFamily Day - Foster a snow angel on parliament hill! February 16th from 11am to 1pm.

Families across eastern Ontario will come together to create hundreds of snow angels cross Parliament Hill.   Each snow angel will represent a child in the care of a Children's Aid Society in eastern Ontario. On any given day, there are over 3,200 children and youth in care in Eastern Ontario.

When it is necessary for these children to come into care, they need families to help, understand and care for them.  Whether it be for a short period of time or for a lifetime, connecting with a family provides life changing experiences and outcomes.

On this day, we are inviting families to come and make their own snow angel. Through this fun and emotionally charged event, it is our hope that more people come to understand the importance of families in our communities. The safety and well-being of children and youth is everyone's responsibility. For more information contact André Fontaine at (613) 747-7800 ext. 2857.
