Foster a Snow Angel
The first annual
Foster the Snow Angel was held on Parliament Hill on February 18th,
Family Day. Thanks to the overwhelming support from the Ottawa and regional
communities, hundreds of families came to leave their mark on the snow. Each
snow angel represented a child in care who needs a family.
The purpose of the
event is to ultimately inspire more families to come forward as foster families
for children and youth in care. For more information about the event or for
pictures, visit fosterasnowangel.com.
