Watson gets approval for generic version of Cephalon's Fentora - The Food and Drug Administration approved Fentora tablets in strengths
of 100, 200, 300, 400, 600, and 800 micrograms. The drug is for treating
pain that is not controlled by regular doses of other strong
painkillers. Also, Mylan gets approval for generic Procardia XL.
Jim Edwards (BNet Pharma) says recent Pfizer drug failures are a management problem, not a clinical one.
FDA approves new Merck asthma drug (black box included) - FDA approved Merck's Dulera, a combination inhaler, for asthma patients
12 years and older, the company announced today.
