Community Groups Update
Our groups have started off on a positive note this year with eight groups and more than 100 people meeting together. We anticipate continued energy as we move forward into the next semester. We are praying that God will continue to grow and multiply our groups as more people get involved. Important Dates: New Community Group sign-ups will begin May 10. Community Group Leader Meeting will be May 26 at the MWay Office. Thanks to all who have been involved this semester, especially our leaders and hosts. We look forward to the exciting things God is going to do through our groups! To learn more about Community Groups, contact Matt.

This Week @ MWay - April 26
"When You Can't Run Away" The source of challenge and difficulty is both internal and external. Jonah epitomized the downward spiral of those who try to run from God. To guard against the onslaught of the evil one is to build our life's foundation on The Rock. Join us Sunday as we explore ways to face our current circumstances and rely on God's strength to bring us through and grow us closer to Him.

"Love others as well as you love yourself." Matthew 22:38
Join us in making a big difference in our neighbors' lives! Bring the items you have signed up for on the 4th Sunday of each month, and we will deliver them to Family Promise, L'Arche Harbor House and Seamark Ranch. Don't forget that Sunday, April 26 is the 4th Sunday, so deposit your items into the black bins near the Next Steps table on the patio.
*If you have not signed up to bring a few items, but would like to help, please bring in one or more of the following items: toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, or laundry detergent. Contact Shannon for more information.
We received a letter from Sister Rita Baum of L'Arche Harbor House, which we hope encourages all who are giving these donations each month. Below is a portion of the kind letter of thanks:
We are pleased and appreciative that you have chosen such an ambitious outreach project for your church community. These are especially challenging times for us, both financially and due to the increasing needs of our aging population. The love and generous support of your community of faith is a demonstration of God's grace and compassion. Thank you again for living your faith in such a helpful and practical way in service to persons with disabilities.
