| Happy New Year from MissionWay! |
|
It's the start of the new year, 2009. We recognize that many families in our country are struggling during these difficult economic times. We also know that our God is faithful and sovereign. We pray that in this new year, we put our trust in Christ and keep our eyes focused on Him.
"Those who trust in the LORD are like MountZion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever." Psalm 125:1

| Momentum |
Momentum! When you have it, everything seems to be going your way. But when you don't have it, it seems like you can't catch a break. It is such an intangible idea that it's tempting to think it just happens. But momentum doesn't appear out of nowhere. It can be created, and the potential of its power can be unleashed. Beginning this morning and in the weeks ahead, we will examine how the power of a committed life unleashes the power of momentum in our spiritual lives. Jan. 4 - Understanding Momentum Jan. 11 - Momentum in My Walk with God Jan. 18 - Momentum in My Relationships Jan. 25 - Momentum in My Church |

| New Community Groups Start in February |
Get Plugged In! Have you heard about MWay Community Groups? Community Groups are small Bible study groups that meet in members' homes. Our new Community Groups will begin in February and will meet through May. Over this four-month period, our Community Groups will focus on the book of John. At MissionWay, we emphasize the importance of community and follow the example of the first church in the book of Acts (Acts 2:42-47). The first believers met together regularly in homes to study scriptures, pray and enjoy a time of fellowship. Our Community Groups are a great way to grow in your spiritual walk, dive deeper into God's Word, and connect with other folks at MWay. Get plugged in. Join a Community Group today! Visit us online or sign up for a group on Sunday at the Guest Services table. Contact Matt Wilbanks for more information. |
