Understanding the Unexplainable Week 3 - October 26, 2008 |

This Week @ MissionWay
It had been over a year since Jesus had healed the paralyzed man by the pool of Bethesda. The word was out and large crowds were following Him wherever He went. The demand had become so great that Jesus took His disciples to the far side of the Sea of Galilee to rest. To their surprise, 5000 families had followed them there and they were hungry. Filled with compassion, Jesus took five loaves of bread and two small fish offered by a young boy, miraculously multiplied it and gave everyone present all they wanted to eat. WOW! Join us Sunday as we unpack this miracle and discover what God's truth for our lives! |

Fall Festival This Saturday!
October 25, 3pm - 5pm
Oaks @ St. Johns Apartments
We are so excited about our Fall Festival this Saturday at the Oaks Apartments! Thanks to all of you who have contributed the resources necessary to make this event a great success. Don't forget to help us setup at 2pm! We also need help with clean up after the festivities are over.
We are so amazed at how God is working right here in our backyard! If you haven't plugged into this exciting ministry, it's not too late! Please contact Matt Wilbanks at 312.0202 or mattwilbanks@missionwaychurch.org if you have any questions about getting involved. We'll see you Saturday! | |
MissionWay is blessed to have so many young families and wonderful children. We are excited to announce that we will be holding our next Parent & Child Dedication Service on Sunday, November 23.
The service is an opportunity for parents to publicly declare their intention to raise their child to know God and develop a relationship with Him. It is also a time for us to declare our support for them in this important task. If you would like to dedicate your child or have questions, call Pastor Ron at 612.8087. |

Seamark One-Day Project
We need 8 to 10 people Saturday, November 9 from 9am to 12pm to help sand, scrape and stain 5 sets of outdoor steps at Seamark's Boys home. Bring extension cords, power strips, and brushes/rags for staining, and orbital or vibrating sanders with 50 and 100 grit sand paper. Belt sanders are welcome but the user needs to be proficient at it so as not to damage the steps. Contributions to purchase the stain and sand paper are welcomed. Contact Dale Cockley (dcockley@gmail.com) to volunteer, contribute or to get more information. |
