This Week @ MissionWay
 Every day for 38 years he came to the pool of Bethesda, hoping for the same thing: healing. For as long as he could remember, he had been paralyzed, unable to walk. Common belief held that if the waters were stirred and you were the first to enter the pool, you would be healed. He was close to losing hope that he would ever make it into the waters when he looked up to hear Jesus speaking words of restoration and healing. Jesus asked, "Do you want to get well?" On that day Jesus performed another miracle. A lame man walked home for the first time completely healed! Join us Sunday as we continue the series, Understanding the Unexplainable: The Miracles of Jesus. |

 MissionWay is blessed to have so many young families and wonderful children. We are excited to announce that we will be holding our next Parent & Child Dedication Service on Sunday, November 23.
The service is an opportunity for parents to publicly declare their intention to raise their child to know God and develop a relationship with Him. It is also a time for us to declare our support for them in this important task. If you would like to dedicate your child or have questions, call Pastor Ron at 612.8087. | |
| We Need Water!
We need volunteers to donate bottles of water for our Sunday morning MWay Cafe. You can bring the water to our office on Old Dixie Highway or to the patio on Sunday morning. Thank you for your generosity! |

 Fall Festival - Saturday, October 25; 3-5pm
Oaks @ St Johns Apartments
We Need Your Help!
The College & Career Community Groups met recently and came up with some great ideas for the Fall Festival. Now, we need your help to make them happen! We'd like for each Community Group to get involved because our work at The Oaks is a vital part of our local community ministry. We need help with materials, food and staffing.We've listed below specific areas where you can plug in:
4 Inflatable Bounce-A-Roo Rentals: We need people to staff each.
Games: We need people to staff each game and bring small prizes to give out.
Three-legged race: We need rope!
Sack race: We need sacks!
Bobbing for apples: Guess what? We need a tub and apples!
Pumpkin painting: We need mini pumpkins, paint, brushes, etc.
Face painting: We need face paint and brushes.
Snow cones: We need a snow cone person or two.
Candy: We need lots of candy! (Bring candy in this Sunday)
Decorations: We need fall decorations for the tables.
Our time is running out and we can't do this without your help! Please call Matt Wilbanks @ 312.0202 by this Sunday, October 19 and let him know what you and/or your Community Group will be responsible for at the Fall Festival. Thanks! |
