Greetings!
Jennings left for college on Friday and I have been kind of mopey.
So, I was very happy to get an email from one of my favorite people, Gary Bedard, CO, who had some "hot off the press" info.
And because you are an Outsource Marketing Solutions email newsletter subscriber (and that makes you a O&P VIP) I'd like you to be one of the first to get the new Stance Control Joint Matrix that the AOPA Coding and Reimbursement Committee has just updated for the first time in years! You will find it very helpful.
Stance Control Joint Matrix
Thanks Gar!

TSA and Checkpoint Friendly Laptop Bags
|
This is straight from the TSA website. "To help streamline the security process and better protect laptops
TSA has recently encouraged manufacturers to design bags that will
produce a clear and unobstructed image of the laptop when undergoing
X-ray screening. A design that meets this objective will enable TSA to
allow laptops to remain in bags for screening.
Industry enthusiastically met the call and more than 60
manufacturers responded, 40 of them submitting prototypes for testing." Here's the kicker though.
TSA is not approving or endorsing any bag design or manufacturer. Whatever. It doesn't matter if the TSA says they are not approving, because... the laptop bag marketing people say otherwise! So, who is making "TSA Approved" orthopedic shoes? or canes? or breast prostheses? or other exterior medical devices? Why not? |
ReWalk
|
The ReWalk is now in clinical trials in Tel Aviv's Sheba
Medical Centre and Goffer said it will soon be used in trials
at the Moss Rehabilitation Research Institute in Pennsylvania.
Something of a mix between the exoskeleton of a crustacean
and the suit worn by comic hero Iron Man, ReWalk helps
paraplegics -- people paralyzed below the waist -- to stand,
walk and climb stairs. Iron Man. The movie grossed more than 300 million dollars. 300 mill means A LOT of people saw the movie... You can piggyback all OVER that!
