Tip #4 Be a Valuable Resource

Thank you, thank you, thank you for being a subscriber! (I made you a Thanksgiving card, click here to view it.)

Thanksgiving/Holiday Marketing Tip

Are you looking for a great way to thank someone (customers, clients, referral sources, etc.)? Looking for something a little more meaningful than a giant tin of popcorn from the Popcorn Factory (not that there's anything wrong with that!)

Make a donation to a worthy cause in their honor - just make sure the honoree will receive notification (this is a marketing tip, after all!)

OPAF will send the honoree a very nice letter telling them that a donation has been made in their honor.
(Questions? Call Robin Burton at 215-752-5756)

When I was in O&P patient care, I made donations to Hartford, Connecticut's FoodShare organization in honor of our referring physicians - and I didn't wait till the end of the year because I didn't want the gesture to get lost in the holiday rush.
(Plus, the food banks need help starting before Thanksgiving so why wait?)
More Thanks

Have you been thinking about booking a Custom Fab Marketing Boot Camp and you just haven't gotten around to it yet?

Well, as a thank you for being such a great email newsletter subscriber, I am waiving the travel expenses for any Custom Fab Marketing Boot Camp if you book before the end of the week (11/23/07.)

You don't have to have a date yet, just book the Camp and I'll send you a list of available dates.  (I'll even send you Saturday dates if you need them.)

So, if you were thinking about it, you should really do it.
It's going to save you (those airline ticket prices keep going up and up!!) around $1,000 bucks.  Nice.

Allied Health Promotions Tip #4
EggtimerThis week's tip is #4 in a ten part series that is brought to you by Bill McClellan of P&O Care and the author of the CareDigest Blog.

Be a Valuable Resource.
Don't show up and just ask for more business.  Your business exists for your patients, and so does any healthcare practice.  For them, you exist to help them serve their patients better.  Have one thing in mind like free home visits or consultations that they can remember easily and pass along to a patient.  Bring a newsletter with interesting, quality information, or leave behind a good article from a magazine you picked especially for them.  You want to be the expert they think of when a patient comes in with unique problems not solved by your colleagues in the field.
