Greetings!

Crowdsourcing.

A jargony buzzword?

Or a novel idea to doing business?

Crowdsourcing is customer involvement in business and business development.
It's being widely used by all kinds of companies who are relying on unpaid or low-paid amateurs to create content, solve problems, even do high end R&D.

On InnoCentive.com, Procter and Gamble researchers post their particular research challenges. They offer rewards to hobbyists and amateur scientists who come up with the best solution. And they do.

If you're John Fluevog Boots & Shoes, you ask your customers to submit asks its fans to submit and vote on new shoe designs.
