The Island Theatre Ten Minute Play Festival
August 18 & 19: Saturday & Sunday @ 7:30 p.m.
Island Theatre presents its inaugural Ten Minute Play Festival on Saturday, August 18, and Sunday, August 19, beginning at 7:30 p.m. both evenings at Bainbridge Performing Arts, 200 Madison Avenue North, Bainbridge Island. Out of fifty-six play submissions from throughout Kitsap County, fourteen will be performed - seven each evening - as script-in-hand stagings by Island Theatre directors and actors.
The two top-ranked plays from the Island Theatre Ten Minute Playwriting Contest - "I See France," by Wendy Wallace in the adult category, and "There's a Goblin in My Kitchen" by Megan Gleason in the teen category - will be honored. Other playwrights represented in the festival are: Jim Anderson, Connie Bennett, Christine Castigliano, Steven Fogell, Jeff Fraga, Paul Lewis, Steve Palay, Karen Polinsky, Sara Anne Scribner, George Shannon, Ulla Solberg, and Caroline Smith.
