BAINBRIDGE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
2011-2012 SEASON AUDITIONS
WHO: Players of all instruments are encouraged to audition, especially bassoon, trumpet, violin, viola, and basses.
When: September 7, 2011
WHERE: Bainbridge Performing Arts, 200 Madison Avenue North, Bainbridge Island
WHAT TO PREPARE: Please prepare two contrasting works of your choice that display the depth of your musical sensitivity and range of technical ability. You may prepare solo material, etudes or excerpts. Be prepared to play a total of 5-8 minutes of music. For percussion, please prepare solos or excerpts of your choice for snare drum, xylophone or glock, and an auxiliary instrument of your choice. Sight-reading for all instruments may be requested, music will be provided on site.
