Greetings!

I hope your Thanksgiving was joyful and accompanied by several days of relaxation with family. Another small respite is just around the corner with balance of the holiday season. Please note because December 25 and January 1 fall on weekend days, IACED's offices will be closed on Thursday, December 23; Friday, December 24; Monday, December 27; and Friday, December 31.

If you are still looking for a special gift this season, consider a piece of original art. From now through December 31 when you buy art from The Harrison Center for the Arts (an IACED member) through the Harrison Gallery, twenty percent (20%) of your purchase will benefit IACED. Click here for additional information.

The first part of the new year will have the IACED public policy team back at the Indiana State House. The 2011 General Assembly session convenes January 5, 2011. Hoosier legislators met at the Statehouse on November 16, 2010 to get organized for the new session. Lawmakers in the 2011 session will craft the state's biennial budget, a difficult task in the current economic times. Please read this IACED blog post for a summary of the key issues important to IACED members in the upcoming session and news from Organization Day.

Thank you for reading; enjoy the holiday season.

Regards,
07 summit participants
