Axcess First to Introduce Automated Security Checks
Wireless ID System Performs Physical Intrusion Detection/Authentication in Real Time
Axcess International Inc. (OTCBB:AXSI), a leader in wireless IDs, today announced the first of its kind physical security solution for automatically determining in real time if a person is carrying a proper ID and is authorized to be in a given place. This announcement makes it possible for Axcess' security systems to provide complete, constant coverage of a facility day and night. Until now, physical security systems have provided a physical barrier to intrusion and/or a sensor for detection but have been unable to automatically determine a person's security authorization throughout a facility.
This internal security capability means ID badges can be electronically monitored in real time to alert if a visitor, intruder or employee is improperly in any part of a facility at any time of day. By replacing manual ID access control cards with Axcess' ID badges, called Dot MicroWireless Credentials (tm), a portfolio of new applications is made available including: automatic access control, asset loss prevention, visitor tracking, emergency evacuation accounting and now intrusion detection. Axcess' ID badges are interoperable with the vast majority of access control system infrastructures installed worldwide, making it easy to augment the existing system for the new capabilities. The product drops easily into virtually any vertical industry worldwide in support of the $10 billion global electronic access control market.

Axcess Receives Order for Wireless IDs to Improve Safety on Oil Platform
MicroWireless System Automates "Man-Down" Monitoring and Locating
Axcess International Inc. (OTCBB:AXSI), a leader in wireless credentials, today announced it has secured a contract for providing a wireless ID system in support of advanced workforce management applications that will improve the safety of workers on a large oil platform in the Far East. It will be the Company's second oil platform implementation and the first to include a new safety feature for automatically monitoring workers for injuries on the job.
MicroWireless-based IDs have been successful in automatically securing perimeters and internal facilities and in counting worker "in/out" status to comply with industry emergency evacuation regulations such as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) federal laws in oil and gas, mining, petrochemical, utility, transportation and government operations. Now, with nano-positioning sensors implemented inside Axcess' Dot MicroWireless Credential (tm), an individual worker's on-the-job status and location is automatically monitored by the RFID-based system 24/7 to alarm in the event a serious injury, commonly called a "man-down" situation, arises. On April 21, 2010 an explosion on a platform in the Gulf of Mexico, the Deepwater Horizon, left 15 workers injured and 11 of the 126 workers unaccounted for hours after the incident. The Axcess contract, valued at around $100,000, is one of an estimated market opportunity of 300 off-shore oil platforms. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data, over 115 million employees in the United States alone work in industries where physical injuries are commonplace.
