This is a bit of a new stamping technique for me. I can't decide but I think I like this blue damask paper almost as much as the black and white houndstooth. Put them together and I'm in heaven. To create the stamped border I just used a scrap piece of paper and randomly stamped over the edges. Then removed the scrap piece of paper and replaced it with the blue damask. I love how this turned out :)

Supplies Used: March Plush Pak: Poolside Collection, Floating Patterned Paper, Lounge Lizard Patterned Paper, Breeze Patterned Paper, Noodles Patterned Paper Poolside Rub Ons, Admiral Cardstock, Flowers, Blue Ribbon Additional Supplies Used: White Ink, White Flourish Rub ons, Cricut, Large Silver Brad.

Choose 1 4x6 Photo. Mat on a 6.25x8.5 inch piece of admiral cardstock. Ink the edges in white. Adhere to center of admiral background cardstock, approximately 1 inch from the bottom.

Next, cut a 1.5 x 12 inch piece of admiral. Ink the edges and adhere across mat, just below photo. Add piece of ribbon going across and flowers. Jazz it up by including a brad as the center of the flower. I added a rub on to the top of the brad to add more interest. Be sure to scratch up top of brad with sandpaper before adding rub on. This helps the rub on to adhere to the metal. I also added 3 rub on squares just below the ribbon as a fun accent.

Cut 3, 2.25 inch squares from the various patterned papers and adhere, as shown.

Cut title from patterned paper and adhere along bottom of the mat, as shown.

Add flourish rub ons as a finishing touch.

Lastly, ink the edges of the entire layout.
