  • Trifold Card!
  • Supplies: Tinkering Ink Beloved Tender Patterned Paper, Red Cardstock , Pink Ribbon , 4 Brads , Chipboard Heart (Mine was Making Memories), Damask Stamp or Sticker (Mine was a Heidi Swapp Pink Damask Sticker), Miscellaneous bits of red, pink and blue ribbon, Plain Chipboard, Pink and Red Paint, Pink Paper Flower and Brad for center, Paper Clip (Mine was Making Memories), 3 - 3-1/2 x 5 black and white or coordinating photos

Instructions: Cut 3 4x6 pieces of chipboard and cover the backs with the red cardstock. The chipboard will give your project stability so that it can stand and be displayed on it's own.

Sponge paint the outside edges of all three pieces with pink paint.

Adhere your embellishements to the front cover. You can use anything you wish but I had the damask sticker in my stash and thought it was perfect with the Tinkering Ink patterned paper. The large circle with roses from the pak would also be perfect on the cover. When creating the cover I wanted it to have lots of dimension so I layered the chipboard heart, paper flower and tied some ribbons on the heart. The perfect heart for this project would be the Heidi Swapp one that was included in one of the previous classy paks. You could even add some stitching to the heart for added dimension.

Lay your 3 chipboard pieces face down in a row and adhere four 1-1/2" strips of ribbon. Punch holes through the ribbon, cardstock and chipboard and attach brads through the punched holes. It's important to do this step in the correct order so you do not see the brads on the inside of your tri-fold.

Turn your project over. Cut and adhere three 4x6 pieces of the Tinkering Ink patterned paper and adhere to the inside of your chipboard pieces (covering the backs of the brads.

Paint the outside edges of your photos with red paint and adhere them to the center of each of the card faces.

Add some stickers or other embellishment of choice along the bottom (or top) of each of the photos so that it creates a line through the tri-fold. I hope you enjoy making this project as much as I did.

  • How'd You Create that Layout?
  • Designer: Tiare Smith, Classy Coach

Supplies Used: February Plush Pak: Ski Parka Collection, Lift Ticket Patterned Paper, Apres Ski Patterned Paper, Black Diamond Patterned Paper, Mini Circle Frames Rub Ons, Sea Salt Cardstock. Additional Supplies Used: Black Ink, Black Prima Flowers, Letter Stamps, Chipboard Letters, Bling, Mini Flower Brads

Choose 3 Photos. Photos should measure 4x3 7/8, 4x4 7/8 and one should be a circle. Mat circle photo using the 2nd sheet of Sea Salt Cardstock. Center photos on background Sea Salt Cardstock. You may wish to wait to adhere until you have the following strips cut out, for placement purposes.

Next, cut 4, 1 1/2 x 12 inch strips from each patterned paper, 2 will come frome the Lift Ticket Paper. One will be turned over to use the backside pattern. Use to create a frame around your photos, as shown. The strips will need to be trimmed down to fit your photo placement.

Use a circle rub on to create an accent at the bottom right of frame border, as shown. Next, stamp a part of the title on Sea Salt Cardstock, cut out and ink edges. Use chipboard letters for title "focal" word. Adhere.

Use another circle rub on along with a circle journal stamp on Sea Salt Cardstock, to create a journaling spot. Cut out circle accent. Adhere.

Punch holes along the top of frame, as shown. Be sure to punch holes through circle, also. Add mini flower brads.

Add flowers and a small jewel/bling in center of each flower. Lastly, ink the edges of the entire layout.
