  • Sweet Treats!
  • The next time you are making a "Sweet Treat" for a friend, neighbor, teacher or family member consider using your scrappin' supplies to jazz up the packaging a bit!.

Amanda used scraps from the November Classy Pak to add an even more personal touch to these bags of cookies. It's easy, just use strips of paper over the top of bags and staple closed. Use the die cut tags, as gift tags! Fun, quick, easy and jazzy! Give it a try!

Use a variety of papers and embellies to make your packages unique! Have fun!

The year has turned it's circles. The seasons come and go. The Harvest all is gathered in, and chilly north winds blow. Orchards have shared their treasures, the fields, their yellow grains. So, open wide the doorway, Thanksgiving comes again! -unknown

  • How'd You Create that Layout?
  • Designer: Megan Thurman, Classy Coach

Supplies:1 4x6 photo and 5 photos cropped to 2.5"x2.5", 3 cardstock stickers, 2 felt flowers, die cut letters, rub on letters, 1 12x12 sheet of cardstock, 1 piece of solid paper measuring 4"x5", 1 piece of patterned paper measuring 8"x5", 1 piece of patterned paper measuring .75"x12", strips of solid paper for journaling, ink, fine point black pen

Instructions: 1. Layer the papers and the 4x6 picture on the sheet of cardstock. The solid color (4x5) goes 1.5" from the top and .5" from the right hand side. The 8x5 patterned paper is placed 3" from the top and 1" from the right hand side. The 4x6 photo is placed 1.75" from the top and 1.75" from the right hand side. And the long strip of patterned paper is placed about 6.5" from the top, just below the 4x6 photo. 2. Place your 5 smaller pictures down the left hand side, angling them so they fit in the space.

    3. Place 3 cardstock stickers overlapping the 4x6 photo and the smaller photos. 4. Arrange your title across the top and under the picture if it is a longer title, or just under the picture if it is a shorter title.

    5. To make the die cut letters stand out more, carefully trace around them with a fine point black pen. 6. Cut out 2 circles from the patterned paper. Place on circle in the bottom left hand corner, and the other sticker at the corner of the 8x5 piece of patterned paper. These two circles form a visual triangle with the cardstock circle sticker near the top right of the page.

    7. Adhere felt flowers to the two circles. 8. Add your journaling is strips at the bottom of the page.

    9. To add a finishing touch, draw two black lines around the entire layout, creating a frame.
