I must have about 40 of these cans stored in my basement. I love altering them. This one is for my kids colored pencils. You could also use any size soup, vegetable or fruit can.

Just wrap patterned paper around the can and glue to the can. My ribbon is woven through the metal can. I used my crop-o-dile to punch the holes. But you could just wrap the ribbon around the can and tie a bow. Also for the tag, I used a stamp on the white reverse side of the patterned paper and cut the stamped image out then added some of this months awesome rub-ons over the stamped image.

Cans can be altered for lots of different things like seedling starters or to hold shower or teachers gifts. The possibilities are endless!

For this simple layout, I used a sketch from Tiare's Valentine collection(Sketch a Day Club). I love that this layout has space for two focal photos and the way the journaling strips are positioned casually off to the side of the photos. Instructions:

1. Choose a sheet of patterned paper for the background.
2. Choose three other accents papers and trim one to 7 in. X 7 in., one to 2 in. X 2 in., and the last one to 11 in. X 5 1/2 in.
3. Select two of your favorite 4X6 photos.
4. Place the 11X5 1/2 in. sheet on the left hand side of the background paper and layer the 7X7 sheet on top of the 11X 5 1/2 sheet towards the bottom right.
5. Place your photos on top of the layered patterned papers like I did here and add the smaller 2X2 in. square on top of the two photos as shown.
6. Add a flower with a rhinestone to the center of the 2X2 in. square.
7. Place journaling strips and your title to the left of the photos.
8. Add tied ribbons to to ends of the journaling strips.
9. I also added some swirls with an acrylic stamp set I have and love the extra touches they added.

The post office is raising shipping prices, again! With the last postage increase we decided not to increase our shipping and handling. However, with this change we must update our shipping and handling to reflect the increased cost of postage. Effective with your June 2007 Classy/Plush Pak, shipping and handling will increase. The new rates will be $5.50 for Classy Paks and $6.75 for Plush Paks. This change will be reflected in your June 2007 billing.
