    3. Cut an 3/4" x 11? strip of blue from the Azure Sky paper.Cut a 1 5/8? x 12? strip of dots from the Azure Without End paper. Cut a 2? x 12? strip of blue from the Azure Without End paper.Cut a 2 1/4? x 12: strip of dark brown cardstock.
    4. Mat the 1 5/8? strip of Azure Sky on the blue strip of Azure Without End.
    5. Mat the 1 5/8? strip of Azure Sky on the blue strip of Azure Without End. Mat this on the piece of dark brown cardstock. Adhere this strip 1 3/8? from the left edge of the circle.
    6. Attach the brown ribbon to the blue strip of Azure Sky. Make sure you trim off the brown circles at one end.
    7. Adhere this strip1 7/8? from the bottom of the circle. Staple the ends and trim the edges flush with the circle.
    8. Add journaling on cream paper above the ribbon strip. My journaling is printed in 2 columns and measures 6 7/8? x 2 1/8?.
    9. Mat your photo on cream, then on dark brown. Attach the photo above the journaling. My photo is 3? from the left edge of the circle.
    10. Add a clip with a small tag. I tied mine on with gold fiber.Add circles from Azure Sky. See sample for placement. You can punch these circles out or cut them by hand.
Lastly, add title letters on the right side of the layout. I used 1 1/2" letters and they are 3/4" from the right edge of the circle.

Matting the round layout on cardstock is optional.

And We Meet by Megan Thurman

    Supplies:

    • 8.5x11" Radiance 4.5x5.5" and 1x6" Regal Sunset 2x7" Painted Sky
    • 3 Flowers
    • 1 slide clip
    • 4 jewels
    • 3" piece of ribbon
    • journaling block stamps and ink
    • circle chipboard

    1. Cut out the three blocks/strips of paper. Ink the edges and adhere on the top portion of the page.
    2. Sand the edges of the picture and adhere to the paper, off-set slightly from the center.
    3. Tie the ribbon around the middle strip of paper.
    4. Write journaling and adhere off-set to the opposite side that the picture is on.
    5. Glue three flowers down, overlapping the picture slightly, and use 3 jewels as the middles
    6. Cover the chipboard ring in patterned paper, and glue around the middle flower. If you don't have a chipboard ring, you can just use paper. The circle simply breaks up the linear feel of the page.
    7. Stamp the title near the bottom of the page.
    8. Slide the clip onto the top right of the picture, and place a jewel in the center.

  • Tip for Using Crystal Flourish Add Ons!
  • Did you buy this month's Crystal Flourish Add On? It's simply beautiful.

Here's a tip for easy placement when using the flourishes. When using the larger flourishes, instead of trying to pull up the entire flourish cut it into smaller sections and piece together on your layout. It makes it much easier, than trying to pick up the entire flourish, while maintaining it's shape and placing. Have fun!
