SAN PASQUAL VALLEY AND AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE
Saturday, October 16th, 2010; 10:00am to 3:00pm

The beautiful San Pasqual Valley is a designated Agricultural Preserve and thousands of acres are set aside from further urban development and leased from the City of San Diego for farming, thus preserving the rural character of the valley and continuing a long rich tradition of agriculture.  The Mediterranean-like climate makes this area ideal for growing a wide variety of crops!  By protecting water quality, clean air, and open space, both agricultural operations and open space wildlife corridors flourish . . .

Take advantage of a unique opportunity to visit three active operating farms in the San Pasqual Valley plus five other operations in nearby North County.  This one day event is sponsored by the San Diego County Farm BureauClick here for further information and to sign-up.
