Join River Park Ranger Ken Colburn on an introductory "cache class" and learn the basics of high-tech treasure hunting!  Bring your own hand-held GPS locator or come and discover what's available on the market.

Geo-caching is permissable at the San Dieguito River Park if you follow the Park's policy and this is your chance to find out what it's all about before you invest in this popular world-wide game of clues and coordinates.

Location:  Exit Interstate 15 at Via Rancho Parkway and go east (right) for less than a 1/4 mile.  Turn right at the traffic light onto Sunset Drive.  There is ample parking at end of the street or in either parking lot.  Meet at the North Shore Trail kiosk at the end of the Sunset Drive cul-de-sac.

Receive a free 10,000 step a day pedometer for participating in this hike!
