Transportation to & from Tucson International Airport

Greetings!

If you haven't guessed by now, I'm a big dessert guy. I always look at the dessert list first before deciding on an entree. What about you? Do you have a favorite dessert you would like others to know about? Drop me a suggestion for Just Desserts, I'll check it out, and if I feature it in the future, you'll get a $25 gift certificate that you can use to indulge in your favorite treat.

Are you a restaurant or food truck operator, or event manager? We're looking for news about opening, expansion, menu change or specials, or event. Send news to news@tucsonnotebook.com.

It's Almond Roca Time at Jonathan's Cork!

Almond roca from Jonathan's Cork

If you like almond roca, then it's time to make your way now to Jonathan's Cork on the Eastside. Proprietor and Chef Jonathan Landeen only makes this absolutely superb confection during the holidays, so you only have a couple of weeks left to purchase yours. Available at the bar for $15 for a one pound bag. If you ever dine there, try the almond roca torte, which is available year round.
