Double Chocolate Pudding at Hotel Congress' Cup Cafe

Cup Cafe's double chocolate pudding
Cup Cafe's double chocolate pudding

For the first time I had lunch at the Cup Cafe at Hotel Congress this past week - my previous visits here were for breakfast, so I was never in the mood for dessert. So when I perused the dessert cabinet, this one - the double chocolate pudding - was the one that closed the deal.

Simple, yet elegant, looking deceptively light yet possessing a bizillion calories, the coffee cup starts off with a layer of milk chocolate at the bottom, then is filled with chocolate pudding almost to the rim. Finally, it's topped with whipped cream with what I detected to be a slight hint of cinnamon, and chocolate shavings. This dessert is rich, so eat a light meal before it, or better yet, start with this first!
