Greetings!
All of us at AJO hope your Summer is off to a great start and the sun's energy is renewing your energy! In this quarterly newsletter, we will bring you up to speed with tips and ideas, news and local happenings that we think will be of interest.
We've seen an increase in leadership development initiatives in 2011. Included in this newsletter are results from our study of 75 "learning leaders" who participated in coaching with AJO. If you're looking to introduce, or expand coaching initiatives within your organization, be sure to check out these findings and call us to learn more about what we are seeing and what best practice organizations are doing.
Our learning theme for this edition is energy management. We focused on this topic during our Coaches Forum in June. Participating coaches and clients reviewed the latest research, resources and materials that we have developed for use in our work with clients. Experts argue that performance improvement occurs when we manage our energy rather than our time and the results are pretty impressive. If you're struggling to keep up in our fast paced, "always on" world, this topic is for you. |
Managing Your Energy

We are being challenged to find new ways to be productive beyond effective management of our time. Experts advocate managing energy from 4 key sources to stabilize energy, increase productivity and increase overall engagement.
In this article, you'll learn where to take an "Energy Audit" to measure how you're doing personally and as a leader. We'll cover the energy sources, our top tips for managing your energy and where to learn more. If you're interested in our coaching guide and action plan, give me a call. Read more ...... | |
