Monthly Passes - After much feedback regarding our pass options, we've decided to simplify our 'menu' while still offering our unique policies (i.e. vacation pause & no-penalty cancellation). As of August 1, 2012 all passes* will be converted so that they automatically renew each month. 
 
All Levels/Power Reformer - We realize that some of you may have been curious at some point what the difference between the two class offerings. The truth is, our trainers are able to provide a challenging, yet modifiable workout for any community member that attends our classes. You are guaranteed to get a stellar workout during any class, therefore we are going to be removing the "All Levels" class title, and they will be "Power Reformer" instead. We hope this clarifies our offerings, but your experience will not change.

 

Nutritional Support - This month we welcome Ashley Besecker RD, CD a registered Ashley Besecker dietitian & certified dietitian. She grew up in Woodinville playing softball & volleyball & eventually moved on to complete her bachelor's degree in nutritional science at Pepperdine University & her residency at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She is now back home with her own practice, Crave Health, in Kirkland -- down at Carillon Point -- where she practices general nutrition for kids & adults. She loves her boxer puppy Laila, red wine, chips & salsa and has a passion for trying new restaurants & tweeting about it! She & her husband Tyler love LAB5 because it's unlike any other workout around, & after Tyler's 2 hip surgeries it's been amazing for his strength!  

 

 

LAB5 Tote - If you haven't already done so, it's time to get a reusable tote for grocery shopping, or even to take on a picnic! LAB5 has you covered--stop by the front desk to get your tote. Part of the proceeds even go to benefit Lifelong AIDS Alliance.

Hobbies: Traveling abroad, watching independent films, indulging in unique cuisine, keeping up to date on current events, wine tasting, biking, & having dinner parties.

Pets? RIP my 17 year old long haired mini-dachshund Barney.

Anything else you'd like to share? My life is divided into two categories, BL & AL, before LAB5 & after LAB5. Before LAB5 I was taking boring classes at local gyms, & maintaining myself. After LAB5, I am in great shape,  absolutely love how I feel! When I am not being tortured in Ron, Jessie, & Rebekah's amazing classes, you can find me creating smile masterpieces in my orthodontic practices.

If you haven't heard of the Dirty Dozen, or the Environmental Working Group (EWG) - I'm

about to change the way you shop in the produce department. Every few years, the EWG sifts through testing results of 45 popular fruits and vegetables based on an analysis of more than 60,700 samples taken by the USDA and the federal Food and Drug Administration. Then, they rank their findings and put it in an easy to use guide for shoppers. The WORST contaminated foods are The Dirty Dozen. These foods you want to BUY ORGANIC. The LEAST contaminated foods are called the Clean Fifteen. These are the foods you can save some money on and buy conventional.

Summer Update

Wow! July 15th already and as usual summer in Seattle started July 5th. 

Molly CashmanWith good weather upon us it's important to continue your fitness regime.  Mix it up with LAB5, we recommend at least three times a week to see results, and some outdoor activities like waking, golfing, swimming, tennis, hiking and biking.  Let's us know how we can help you and your feedback is always
