Director's Corner
Dan Courter, General Counsel
As state and federal audits continue to become more of the norm than the exception, we would like to suggest that the best way in which a school district can be properly prepared for such an event to pay close attention to documentation mandates of the Medicaid rules. Hot Topic: Professional Oversight
Professional Oversight in Lumea allows Licensed Practitioners of the Healing Arts (LPHA) to review and post the sessions submitted by Rehabilitative Assistants (RA). RAs would "Submit" their sessions to the LPHA, or Team Leader, for them to Save and Post to MSB. Read more.

Electronic Signatures
MSB is eager to facilitate the transition for your district from primarily paper-based Medicaid claims processing using paper transaction logs and handwritten, "wet ink" signatures to the automated Lumea (aka X Logs) electronic documentation system.
MSB reminds districts that both electronic signatures and two-week licensed practitioner approval of Rehabilitative Assistance sessions are now available for those districts using Lumea.
Please let us know when you would like to get started with the transition. Contact Jana Dalton, Dan Courter or Steve Courter to get started today!
