Greetings!

Greetings!

Summer holidays have begun and I expect you are rushed off your feet with family events.

We've been hunting for big fat, old aged trees in an ancient  Iron Age hillfort, trying out pop-up Roman villas at Chedworth and trying out tonnes of outdoor activities at our 'Wellies at the ready' workshops -all with families in mind. We're also excited about planning our Families Showcase for next March at Wollaton Hall, more details below.

If you are stuck for some new family activities try our mini adventure packs for woodland and gardens packed full of games, challenges and activities in a funky bag.

If you're looking for a good family visit try National Trust Tyntesfield, Somerset. Their brand new play trail is superb and the family area in the farmyard is one of the best in the country.  See the photos on our Flickr photostream.

Don't forget to tell us about your latest project or favourite resources.  Thanks to everyone who has so far.

Best wishes,

Kate
