Does an EHR Increase Liability?
The REC will be holding two workshops on EHR Liability in Phoenix and Tucson next week - May 23rd and 24th - and space is limited. The event will addresses a critical liability issue for Arizona physicians who document encounter notes with an EHR. The workshop will be lead by Mark Anderson, CEO of AC Group, Inc. Anderson is one of the nation's premier IT research futurists dedicated to health care. The participants of this workshop will:
- Identify risk management issues associated with EHR documentation
- Describe common EHR documentation techniques that increase liability risk
- Examine personal documentation procedures
- Construct methods for reducing personal risk
The price is $20 per attendee, with each registrant being entered in a drawing for two hours of consulting services provided by Mark Anderson, a package worth more than $500!
