AHCCCS Attestation Extended Through March 2012
for 2011 EP Attestations
Arizona Medicaid EHR Incentive Program attestation for eligible professionals (EPs) has been extended through March 2012. AHCCCS will accept EP attestations for the 2011 calendar year through March 31, 2012.
"We are very pleased with the response from eligible professionals. We have extended the deadline to allow practices who adopted EHRs in 2011 to submit their information in order to be eligible for incentive payments under the Arizona Medicaid EHR Incentive Program," states Lorie Mayer, agency Health Information Technology Coordinator.
REC Director, Connie Ihde cautions REC members and providers to not delay in submitting their attestation data. "March 31st is a hard deadline for all submitted data to be reviewed and verified. Since provider data needs to be verified once it is submitted, it would be prudent to attest as soon as an accurate and complete submission can be made," she said.
