I see that the my videos are definitely being watched by a larger audience than the newsletter subscribers. Thanks for sending them out to others!
A huge number of dentists that are finance-phobic---fearful of what I and financial planners present. The video below assuages many fears of what will happen if you don't save. It really isn't that ugly at age 70!
Please send on to anyone you know, whether they are interested in the newsletter or not.

I Hate Finance!
7 minute video For those that can't get within ten feet of the front desk, hate spreadsheets, and have no clue as to what their financial state is, take a look. Know what's in store by age 70, and it isn't bad at all!
Dentist Bottom Line: By age 70, with decreased longevity and increased Social Security benefits, a dentist who never saved a thing will have a decent income in retirement. Find out how much. |
Should Commodities Investors Take Cover?
Click on image for 4 minute video Simon Constable says to get out of commodities if we go into recession. And he feels one is coming. In a recession, money flies into Treasuries, the dollar becomes more expensive, and commodities will naturally fall. Anything involved in manufacturing, such as metals and oil, will lose value. Bottom LIne: The big question is whether we are headed toward another recession. Last week, after Bernake's Congressional testimony, many analysts felt that QE3 may come about to head off another recession. In that case, commodities may not fall. WHO KNOWS? |

Coding Tips with Dr. Charles Blair
8 minute video
Dr. Blair is the dental guru of insurance coding. Coding with Confidence is a must reference manual for all practices.
Blair explains at 0:50 how code 180 allows higher exam fees; at 3:30 how and when to use adult prophy code,1204; at 5:00 of discounting fees and fee forgiveness.
Dentist Bottom Line: Blair has master-minded all codes with detailed explanations. He's a math guy at heart who makes strong common sense out of the miasma of misinformation we receive from the dental media and insurance representatives.

The Investor's Manifesto
4 minute video
William Bernstein, well known academic financial author, recorded this way back in 2009. He comments on:
1. How did rich investors make it through the Great Recession? 2. Does diversification work? 3. Why the investment industry is not your friend.
Dentist Bottom Line: The same old line emerges. "It's different this time" is your key to stray far away from whatever advice comes next! |
Humor: The European Debt Crisis
2 minute video
Clarke and Dawe explain it all in just two minutes. And they make a lot more sense than those you hear and see on the tradional media outlets.
Dentist Bottom Line: Yes, Europe has a problem. Here is the simple answer, or at least a good try.
